Human Brain

The human brain, directly or indirectly, is always the primary study of all branches of psychology.1

Structure of the Human Brain

At it's most basic, the human brain is composed of about 100 billion cells known as neurons. These neurons interconnect with each other and form a neural network which makes up the basic circuitry of your brain.

Cerebrum

The cerebrum is the largest part of the brain. It is covered by a wrinkled layer of neurons known as the cortex. Underneath the cortex exist a number of neural sub-centers such as the thalamus.
